We often become so focused on our problems that we lose sight of the sweet presence of God. Time goes by, and we live burdened with worry, anxiety, and fear, forgetting that the Lord is always near—just a prayer away. There is no perfect or even strictly biblical way to pray. We can pray by shouting, whispering, singing, or writing. God simply wants us to be ourselves when we come into His presence. Today is the day to place all our worries into God’s black box—the one that holds what we cannot resolve—and to forget they even exist, resting in His peace with the assurance that He is in control.
